Vision
Becoming imitators of God as His dearly loved children, living lives of love as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us. (Based on Ephesians 5:1-2)
Purpose
New Hope is a congregation of individuals and families who profess saving faith in Jesus Christ. We gather for worship, Bible study, prayer, fellowship and ministry so that we can grow in Christian love, doctrine and discipleship; and so that we can reach out in love to people in Green Bay and beyond, according to Christ’s purpose and for His glory.
Teaching
New Hope’s life, mission and ministry are rooted in its commitment to the Bible, God’s infallible and life-changing Word, and the historic Christian faith as summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms. New Hope strives to be a Christ-centered church where the Bible is faithfully preached, sincerely believed and practically applied to our daily lives.
History
New Hope began in 1970 with four families who had a vision to plant a new and vital church in Green Bay. God answered prayer by faithfully adding people to the small nucleus. A new building in 1974 and additional expansions since then have enabled the congregation to keep growing.
Recently purchased land on Bay Settlement Road provides New Hope for future expansion.
Affiliation
The Orthodox Presbyterian Church is a Bible-teaching denomination that has been planting churches and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ since its inception in 1936. Through the OPC’s Worldwide Outreach ministry, New Hope supports over 50 home and foreign missionaries as well as the work of Christian education.
Membership
Membership at New Hope is a visible expression of our commitment to Jesus Christ and desire to be related to one another in the local fellowship. The membership process begins by contacting one of the Pastors about your interest.
