The son of a pastor, eldest of four children, born and raised primarily in the Midwest, Pastor Jim Ferguson came back home and to us from a pastorate in South Carolina. Previously he had served the Lord with Christian Service Brigade in New England.

He has been married to Laurel since 1974, and together they have three children, two of them adopted from Korea (but they can’t remember which two). For fun he likes to eat, read espionage novels, play computer games like MYST, solve puzzles like Crypto-Grams or Crypto-Quotes, and watch sports on TV.

Believing that God has specifically and spiritually gifted him in the area of teaching, that is the primary focus of his ministry.
