Children and Youth

A program for children from nursery age and up is provided. Dedicated and caring teachers instruct small groups of children using music, Bible lessons and stories, Bible memory work, and crafts. The program is designed to take the youth through the Bible four (4) time in the first 18 years of their lives. Each time through the Bible the insights and questions and applications get a little deeper, so that in the high school program the youth are wrestling with contemporary issues in the light of the Scriptures, learning to apply all of the Bible to all of life.

A nursery is provided for babies and young children during the Sunday morning and evening services plus the Sunday school hour.  In addition, a catechism is taught at all levels through 5th grade using Kids’ Quest

Adults

The adult program at New Hope is a three (3) tiered program designed to take a new believer in Christ Jesus to functional maturity, make disciples, and take believers through the Bible at least 2-3 times in their adult years.

The first tier includes the basics of the Bible, and the basics of belief.

The second tier builds on the foundation laid in the first, and goes deeper into each of those areas. Books of the Bible are studied in more depth, theology is taught and discussed, and applications are made from Scriptures to all areas of life—including marriage, parenting, personal organization, and evangelism.

The final stage of our program includes training in studying and teaching the Word, leading in the congregation of God’s people, and programming the building up of the saints.  We accomplish all of this in an elective setting. Each quarter we offer two or more electives, including one from at least two of the three levels.
