VBS is a fun-filled week during the summer when children have hands-on opportunities to learn more about their faith or to be introduced to Jesus for the first time. Crafts, skits, puppet shows, stories, and singing combine to present children with solid biblical truth. This is a tremendous opportunity for outreach and visitors. Neighborhood children are encouraged to attend.

2008 Power Lab: Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power

Our VBS, Power Lab-Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power, was held mornings in late June this year. Forty-two children attended, sixteen of them from New Hope. We had almost as many staff workers, at forty, all of who were extremely dedicated to caring for, loving, and guiding the children who came. It was an amazing week, where the hand of God was very evident. We praise Him for what we learned, and how all of us grew in our knowledge of Jesus’ miraculous power.
