Luke 11 contains the Lord’s prayer, “Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.” This partition follows the parable in Matthew 18:22-35, where the servant, who was forgiven much, refused to forgive alittle. The result, the servant had to pay for his offenses. We are called to forgive others who offend us, because God has completely forgiven us of all of our many sins.
